Buff Wax Spot is a local body-waxing studio with three locations across Edmonton and Sherwood Park—and a growing skincare line, Buff Experts, dedicated to clean, science-led formulas. Rooted in body positivity and inclusivity, Buff celebrates confidence in every body, helping clients feel empowered and comfortable in their own skin.

We had the pleasure of partnering with their team to design and develop the BuffExperts.com e-commerce website, along with supporting brand materials, in-store signage, and custom illustrations. Each design element reflects their vibrant, approachable, and empowering brand personality—creating a cohesive experience that connects their in-person energy with their digital presence.

Buff Wax Spot first partnered with us to design their Buff Experts e-commerce website. The challenge was creating a visually impactful and creative experience within the constraints of Shopify’s templates. Once the website was underway, we expanded our work to develop Buff Wax Spot’s brand elements, bringing versatility and cohesion to their graphics while introducing playful, engaging visuals that reflect the brand’s vibrant personality.

Process


Our goal was to bring Buff’s values of inclusivity, empowerment, and clean beauty to life through design. For the website, we focused on intuitive navigation, clear product storytelling, and a visual hierarchy that guides the customer journey. Brand materials and in-store signage were crafted to extend the same warmth and confidence found in their studios, while custom illustrations added personality and human connection.

The final result is a set of cohesive brand elements that connect Buff Wax Spot and Buff Experts, while allowing each to maintain its own distinct identity. The brand assets and website are vibrant, engaging, and impactful, reflecting the company’s core values of inclusivity and body positivity. Every design decision was intentional, ensuring the brand feels authentic, welcoming, and memorable across every touchpoint.

Our focus was on intuitive navigation, clear product storytelling, and a visual hierarchy that guides visitors seamlessly through the customer journey. To ensure a consistent and engaging experience across devices, we customized both graphics and layout for desktop and mobile views.

    The final website is vibrant, playful, and full of the brand’s exuberant personality—capturing the energy, inclusivity, and fun that Buff is known for.

  • We partnered with Buff Wax Spot to expand their brand identity across multiple touchpoints. This included updating select pages of their website, designing POS signage for their studios, and creating gift cards featuring custom illustrations. Every element reflects the brand’s vibrant, playful personality while maintaining cohesion and versatility across all materials.

  • Every retail location needs gift cards that reflect its brand, and for Buff Wax Spot, we took the concept further by telling a story through custom illustrations. Each gift card holder features a unique scene that complements the card, creating a mini narrative around playful characters that embody the brand’s fun and cheeky personality. We’ve had the pleasure of designing both winter and summer editions, ensuring the gift cards remain engaging, seasonal, and on-brand.
